The Adventure West Council is proud offer an amazing Scouts BSA Wintercamp Program for your Scouts. Wintercamp is similar to Scouts BSA Summercamp, except that it occurs during the winter holidays and is a few days shorter. The 5-day camp begins just after Christmas and ends at noon on New Year’s Eve, so Scouts can make it home for the festivities.
The camp offers a variety of merit badges, many that are not offered during the summer. For younger Scouts, our Camp’s Trail to First Class program will help them work toward earning 1st Class Rank. The staff is mainly adult volunteers who work hard to provide great afternoon program activities, campfires, and much more. Winter camp is a great way to augment your unit’s program and ensure your Scouts are receiving a mountain-top experience.
Arrow of Light Scouts can register to attend Wintercamp with the Troop they plan to join, however the Scout MUST earn their Arrow of Light Award and Crossover/Transfer into the troop prior to December 27th. We highly encourage this as the Trail to First Class program is a great way to kick-off your Scouts BSA Adventure!
Unit Registration is Required. This is NOT an individual registration event. It is the same as Summercamp and requires 2 registered adult leaders for the entirety of the event. (Units can change their Adult leaders during the week, but must maintain a minimum of 2 adults)
Registration closes November 24th. Attendance is limited to the first 150 Scouts on a first come, first serve basis.
