Cub World at Camp Jack Nicol

Cub World is an exciting 3-day, 2-night outdoor camping experience designed for Tigers to Webelos.

Complete Rank Adventures
as you venture to themed areas and explore a world of imagination! Explore the Medieval Castle and become a knight or maybe a jester. Dig deep into the wild west at the Frontier Fort and become a pioneer, throw a lariat, and more. Immerse yourself in creativity in the Lighthouse at Dunn Point with STEM activities and crafts. Experience nature at 7,000 feet, learning about the forest and local wildlife, conservation, and Leave no Trace. Put your boots on the ground and hike to the top of Spyglass Hill or around Mushroom Rock. Maybe even hike in the dark! Test your hand-eye coordination with Archery, BB’s, and Slingshots/Wrist Rockets.

Camp Leaders Guide

CAMPING & FACILITIES

  • Water is available  throughout camp. Make sure to bring a water bottle!
  • Charging stations for phones and devices are available. 
  • Cellular service is spotty in the area. 

Dining Hall

Meals are served family-style in our Dining Hall and include a salad & breakfast bar. All dietary needs are accommodated. 

Medical Facility & Trading Post

The Medical Facility is located in the camp office across from the Trading Post to assist with any medial needs. 

Campsites

Campers will stay in large canvas wall tents on a wood platform.

Tents & Cots

Campers will stay in large canvas tents with two cots.  

Individual Restrooms

Individual restrooms with flushing toilets for both youth and adults conveniently located near the campsites.

Individual Showers

Individual showers with on-demand hot water for both youth and adults conveniently located near the campsites.

Camp Arrival

  • Please arrive at camp between 2pm-2:30pm.
  • Check-in at the office before heading to your campsite. 
  • Programs will start at 3:00pm.
