Approved Camping Locations for Cub Scout Packs:
To ensure safety, Scouting restricts Cub Scout camping to designated locations that are pre-approved by the local Council. This is for all pack-organized overnight events that involving more than one family from a single pack. At least one adult on a pack overnighter must have completed Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) to properly understand the importance of program intent, youth protection guidelines, health and safety, site selection, age-appropriate activities, and sufficient adult participation.
The following is a list of approved Cub Scout Camping locations within our Council. This list will be updated continuously as sites are certified. Please contact the camping location directly to make your plans and be advised that some of these facilities are privately owned and may have limited access.
Site Appraisal Form:
If you have a location that meets Scouting standards as listed on the Pack Overnight Site Appraisal Form that is NOT listed above, you may complete and submit the form to our Council office or to your District Executive and once approved the facility will be added to this page so others may visit and enjoy its amenities.
